Cyclist & Pedestrian Impacts
Cyclists and pedestrians may be detoured to alternate routes in the project area for safety while crews are reconstructing roads and bridges.
1300 East Sidewalk Closure
The project team is constructing the new 1300 East bridge over I-80 adjacent to the existing bridge. While this work occurs through spring 2023, pedestrians and cyclists will be detoured to the west side of the 1300 East bridge to cross I-80.

2000 East Sidewalk Closure
2000 East between Parley's Canyon Boulevard and Stratford Avenue in Salt Lake City will be in an alternating one-way traffic pattern from Saturday, Jan. 21, through mid-February 2023 while crews complete work on the I-80 bridge over 2000 East.
Pedestrians and cyclists will be detoured to 1700 East through mid-February while this traffic pattern is in place.

The sidewalk on 2000 East under I-80 in Salt Lake City will be intermittently closed for bridge work. During these closures, pedestrians will be detoured to 1700 East.
Cyclists should use caution in the area and anticipate minor delays with one-way traffic in the area.
The construction schedule and activities are subject to change.
